Becoming a New Member

If you are thinking of becoming a new member, you can contact Sussex Co-op at either our farm store or our grocery store. We will provide you with the information that you need to get started.

For the small membership fee, you will be receiving a wealth of benefits, and with the Sussex & Studholm Agricultural Society #21, you will be joining the oldest continuously operated agricultural society in the world.

The cost is $20/year plus HST and expires at the end of October every year. Membership can be renewed our country store.

Why Do We Pay Yearly for Sussex & Studholm Agricultural Society #21?

Your agricultural society predates the co-operative movement (1855). Sussex was established in 1841 and the original by-laws states an annual membership is to be paid on a yearly basis.
